Mark and I set off on our first Cali adventure yesterday after he got back from school. Snacks were packed, cameras charged, and two east coasters were ready to take in the sights of California's southern coast. With my co-pilot and soon to be navigator equipped with our trusty map we hugged the winding coastline from downtown San Diego up to the rocky coastline of La Jolla. This picture shows the sea lions basking on the beach, in their natural habitat. so much better than a zoo. as they shimmied in and out of the water on- lookers gazed in amazement with smiles on their faces.
